The Netflix action drama-comedy television series ‘Obliterated’ revolves around an elite team of Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Navy SEALs, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and National Security Agency (NSA) personnel. The highly trained people band together to avert a terrorist assault in Las Vegas. The characters go out on the town when they believe they have eliminated the menace. Unfortunately, the squad discovers the bomb is a forgery and must overcome their intoxication to uncover the genuine bomb.
Nick Zano as Chad McKnight
In Obliterated, Nick Zano plays Chad McKnight, one of the group’s commanders. Chad is a Navy SEAL who frequently clashes with the other squad leader, Ava Winters (more on her later), and is the focus of numerous women’s affections in the Netflix series. Viewers may recognise Zano from his portrayal as Nate Heywood/Steel in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on the CW Arrowverse. In addition to What I Like About You, he appeared in Melrose Place, Happy Endings, 90210, and 2 Broke Girls.
Shelley Hennig as Ava Winters
In the Netflix action drama-comedy television show, Shelley Hennig plays CIA operative Ava Winters. Ava is one of the persons in command of the elite team, and as a leader, she is a little uncompromising and headstrong. She and Chad have a unique relationship (with amazing chemistry). Hennig previously appeared as Malia Tate in the MTV supernatural series Teen Wolf. She has also starred in television shows such as Days of Our Lives, The Secret Circle, and Dollface, as well as films such as Ouija, Unfriended, and When We First Met.
Terrence Terrell as Trunk
Trunk, played by Terrence Terrell, is a Navy SEAL on the Obliterated team. Terrell has appeared in a number of notable television shows in addition to the Netflix series. Criminal Minds, Scorpion, Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G., Shameless, Black-ish, and Batwoman were among the shows in which he appeared. Terrell also had a recurring role (as Eli Russell) on the CBS sitcom B Positive.
Alyson Gorske as Lana
Lana, played by Alyson Gorske, is the only prominent character in the Netflix action series who is not a trained member of the US Armed Forces. Lana, on the other hand, is a civilian who becomes entangled in the case the team is working on in Las Vegas. Gorske may be recognisable to obliterated viewers from Devil’s Triangle, Meteor Moon, Jungle Run, Amy’s F**k It List, or Shrinking.
C. Thomas Howell as Haggerty
In Netflix’s Obliterated, Haggerty, played by C. Thomas Howell, has a penchant for explosives. Howell’s character is a United States Army explosives technician, which comes in handy while they investigate a bomb threat. Throughout his career, the actor has played a variety of parts, including Ponyboy in The Outsiders, Thomas Chamberlain in Gettysburg, George Foyet (or the Reaper) in Criminal Minds, Dewey in Southland, and Roy in The Walking Dead.
Eugene Kim as Paul Yung
In Netflix’s Obliterated, Eugene Kim’s Paul Yung serves as the United States Air Force representative on the squad. Because Paul is a qualified pilot, he prefers to work in the air rather than on the ground. Kim has also appeared in General Hospital, I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Rookie, The Lincoln Lawyer, Magnum P.I., and many other shows.
Paola Lázaro as Angela Gomez
Angela Gomez, played by Paola Lázaro, is the lone US Marine in the group in Obliterated. Gomez is a skilled sniper, so she sits in the wings while the rest of the special team hunts out threats. Lázaro is well recognised for her role as Juanita “Princess” Sanchez in The Walking Dead, in addition to being a member of the core cast of the Netflix television programme. She has also acted in films such as Lethal Weapon, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, and Black Bear.
Kimi Rutledge as Maya Lerner
Kimi Rutledge plays Maya Lerner, the final team member in Netflix’s Obliterated. Lerner, an NSA agent and tech whiz, is the woman in charge in the action series. Viewers may recognise Rutledge from her appearances in Shrill and Half Sisters, but if the programme is popular on the streaming site, Obliterated might be her breakout role. Furthermore, Rutledge’s character in the episode is likeable (as are most IT specialists in procedurals).
