Green Book Plot
Green Book is the story of Tony, a famous pianist. Tony Lip ( Viggo Mortensen ) lives in an Italian-American neighborhood in the Bronx. Famous African-American pianist Dr. Don Shirley ( Mahershala Ali) is preparing for a concert tour. The famous musician has go to many places from Manhattan to the south as part of the tour. In search of a chauffeur to travel with him from city to city, Shirley hires Tony, who has been unemployed for a while. Tony enlists the help of a guide called “The Green Book” to use routes that are safe for African-Americans during the journey. On their journey, Dr. Shirley and Tony encounter racism, danger and unexpected kindness. The duo has to put their differences aside on this difficult journey. They form an unlikely bond despite their differences.
